Shawl Swatches

So today I am working on knitting up some shawl shape samples.  An awesome resource that was suggested to me at a class in Rhinebeck was 5 Basic Shawl Shapes on Ravelry.  I am knitting up some samples in order to better understand the shaping and increases.  I'm saving them and placing little tags on them with the number of rows and other information.  I also purchased the resource that the author has on her website: Fill in the Blanks Shawl Design which looks like a great Ebook so far!

I currently have my eternity scarf pattern being tested!  Woo hoo!  I will post when the pattern is available to the public on Ravelry.  I'll give you all a little sneak peek though!  =)

One of the projects on my mind is to make an inspiration board.  They sound so...well...inspiring!  I just don't know if I have a spot to keep a bulletin board filled with knitterly inspirations.  We shall see!  I guess that's what Pinterest is for, right?!  Maybe I'll look into doing an inspiration board on there too...

My little record notebook that I mentioned in my last post is filling up nicely!  I really enjoy looking at each day's entry and seeing what I accomplished that day.

Have a blessed day!
